Removal of Commercial 10 Ton Trane Package unit
Here we have an example of a larger package unit HVAC system that we have installed on a retail commercial building outside of Houston TX. We replaced the older 10 ton Trane package unit with a new version (460 3 phase gas). We performed this for a Golfsmith Retail Space.
Above you can see the old and new systems side by side as well as in the picture below. It is hard to pinpoint the true cause for failure on the older system. The system showed signs of lower refrigerant charge and filters where left unchanged for a long period. It is likely that through poor maintenance the older system did not last as long as it ultimately could have under better conditions and care.
